Random
This is just a random post! Ok here goes - I am trying not to waste too much time on the net... Yesterday I didn't login till I completed my Physics record. That's an achievement for me. Then today I came home at 4.40, completed today's sudoku quickly and sat to study Physics. I got the text book ready and was about to see the contents when grandpa asked me for a drop. I, being the only driver at home, had to oblige. I came back and was about to enter the house when granny appeared reminding me to pay her mobile bill and buy some things. So we went to 4th block, got all the work done and I came home at 6.45... Then was chatting with Kavya for sometime about all the crap we have in Mechanical (cos she has her mech internals tomorrow) and finally I concluded that we are gaining nothing from that discussion. So thought it was high time that I stopped bugging her about useless stuff and allow her to study! (Hey Kavya, don't comment on these statements. I am writing for the heck of writing something) Then again opened the book but was busy smsing my friends. Then it was almost time for the only show I watch on TV. So I packed the idea of studying and am here blogging, after my dinner....

I should be writing this at the beginning of the post. But, my thoughts are always jumbled. I started reading 'Five Point Someone' yesterday. It's a nice book. You get an insight into the real life of IITians. I am still half way through. More comments after reading it completely....

And if anyone, by any chance, is wondering what 'Snuffles' means, it's just a nickname for Sirius - my favourite character in Harry Potter. And also my cousin sister had named a cute puppy at home as Snuffles but it survived hardly for a month or so. Poor animal! Well, I have a soft corner for animals. I have a cute pet dog named Tweety at home (It's getting fatter and lazier). It always shows the same enthusiasm when I go home even though I would have gone out only for 5 mins... Tweety - the only living being who can never be upset with me nor I can be upset with. It's such a sweetheart. Well I can go on and on about my Tweety. But I end this blog here.... Too many random topics out here!!!

BREAKDOWN DUE TO STRESS

I am telling you about one of the best companions I ever had - an old and supposed-to-be white Scooty!(I am too lazy to clean it) Well, it's a 1998 model. So I call it old! It was in good condition till it got a new rider in April 2004 - that's me!

Here are it's features - it has an awesome pickup with such a heavy rider! (sarcastically). It's maximum speed is 18 m/s! And I am not sarcastic this time. It's got good fuel efficiency - 30km/l. And riding it on the Outer Ring road comes with a free backache! (This sentence was suggested to me by a friend). It has a very good starting problem. I think I waste a lot of fuel in just getting it started.

And on the morning of 14th December 2005, I left my house as usual at 8.15 AM. Classes begin at 8.30. And I sped away with full josh! Hey wait, I suddenly felt it was gonna stop and it did! I put it on reserve! But damn! I didn't have cash to fill petrol. Else every other day I will have double the money needed for 2 litres of petrol. I thought it would go up to my college and while coming back I can put together all chillar from my purse and fill atleast half a litre. So thinking all this I moved on....

Exactly at 8.19 AM, in a small galli between BDA complex and Devegowda petrol bunk, it stopped! Lo and behold, it refused to budge... The road was steep and so I managed to reach the end of the down steep. I called up my granny and aunt. While I was talking to my aunt, wonder of wonders, I kept the scooty key in the dikki. After finishing my talk, I put the mobile also inside and shut it!!! Can anyone be so stupid? No wonder it is said 'Vinaasha kaale vipareeta buddhi'! Then I ran upto a STD booth near by, borrowed a rupee (cos everything was locked up) and called up my aunt. She said that she would be sending her helper with her scooty. Her key is like a duplicate of mine! (This shows how secure scootys are).

Then I went up to the main road and was waiting for him to come... It was a long wait. He finally arrived at 8.55. Then I took my bag, license etc etc from my scooty and stuffed it in my aunt's. He said that he would somehow take it to my aunt's house which isn't that far from the place where I was stuck up. I filled petrol in her vehicle with the money she had sent and finally reached college at 9.10. I found out that we didn't have labs and classes cos there was world year of Physics celebrations going on in college... So I decided to get back home...

The best part is this. The helper reached my aunt's house without any problem. The scooty seemed absolutely fine!!! I hate my scooty for this.. Acts too smart. It's done this once before also! Well, then I went to my aunt's house. Got my scooty home... I kept my cool cos I know that it's a good vehicle to function so well with a rider like me! Any other vehicle would have broken down long ago. What with so much of stress to reach college by 8.25 i.e in 10 mins in such a traffic! Hats off to my wonderful scooty!!! (Though I grumble a lot about it's bad condition, heart of hearts I don't hate it. After all, something is better than nothing!)

The Week that was!
As this is my first blog, I didn't find any other topic to talk about. I had assumed that this week is gonna be hectic with all the classes and of course workshop! On Monday morning as usual I was damn lazy to get up early and go to college. The classes were boring as usual but we were chatting and so didn't get bored. Then came my most dreaded workshop. But fortunately it went on quite well. (I am still trying to make some guyfriends to get my job done). Tuesday also went on as usual. But it rained so damn heavily and I came home 1 hour late as it was difficult for me to drive. I had a pleasant news in the evening. The government had declared two days of holidays for all schools and colleges. So I spent the whole evening trying to confirm if we had a holiday or not and went to sleep late. In the morning I was awoken by phone calls from people who were still in doubt whether we had college or not. As my friend had college I was in no mood to study (She's my inspiration to study). I was just lazing off the whole day and the next. And what a surprise! The government announced another two days of holidays. So, I spent the rest of the day confirming if we really had holidays. And yooohooo! We did have holidays and thus started my diwali vacation.......
